No phone app. Help!

Phone app missing. I clicked a number link from maps to call a business and it took me to a 404 page with the number as the url. And now from home screen the phone button doesnt work. AND the phone app is missing from my apps. WTF!!!!!

Obviously, since his is a phone, I need this fixed ASAP!

Gb, nonroot running launcher pro.

Voice dialer works.
Calling from contacts and shortcuts works

Clicking Phone button on home page gives me a grey bubble with "phone" in it.

Dialer and phone show up in manage apps list but not in the app drawer.

I've restarted and pulled the battery. Also force stopped and cleared data for "phone".

Sounds like time for a factory reset. Or root it and and get CM, MINI, or Virtuous ROM. Otherwise, take it back to Verizon for help BEFORE rooting and see if they can help you.
