No reason to pre-order from Verizon!

Anyone tired of getting their pre-orders at the same time or later than the device is available at the store? I have had 5 pre-orders with Verizon and this will be my last.

Sound off if you think there should be an advantage to pre-ordering a new device from Verizon.

yes and no. As long as I get it launch day then fine. I don't like waiting at verizon and having someone unbox my phone so the trade off is worth it, but we should have it a day earlier for sure.

I walked in my store at lunch today, and there was not a soul there. All the workers were just standing around. I had to pick up a screen protector while I was waiting on my case to arrive. They didn't even have them out, and they didn't know of anyone getting one yet today. Kid was buying one when I left.
 
Well, I was sitting at my desk at about 11 and someone walked over to me and handed me my new Galaxy Note 3. I found that more convenient then walking over to the Verizon store.
 
I agree totally.....still waiting for freaking fedex.....preordered 9-6......

my first preorder was the gs3 and it came 3 days early. note 2 on the day of. note 3....still waiting. i will not preorder again. i'd rather hope down to the store early and lay hand on it from the get go. i won't be preordering again..

seems like preorders arriving 1 day ahead would give incentive and reward....
 
Agreed. So much easier to walk in and walk out with your phone. In and out in ten minutes, had my phone by 9:30am
