Just got the Nexus 7. However, for the life of me, I can't figure out how to rotate any screen. Use Chrome as an example. It only works in portrait mode. Turning the tablet to landscape does nothing. The screen stays in portrait mode. Same for Gmail, etc. Is there a setting for this? If so, where?

Pull down the notification panel.to the right of the date and time is a rotation toggle.

I don't see it in accessibility, all I see is text scaling and force enable zoom.

EDIT: TWISM, you are absolutely my hero. I love this device even more.

I used go launcher it is rotates everything from apps to the home screen

Simply drag drown the notification bar and you see first the time then date and after that there will be 2 icons one for rotation and the other settings.

If you click on the Settings icon, on the apps screen - then look for System group-scroll down to "accessibility" - see "Auto Rotate..." and click it to make checkmark appear.

Screen rotate will work for almost every application, including Chrome- but , alas, the Home screen does not Rotate on Android 4.1.1 ... (awkward for these tablets. especially if you put your on a little stand in "landscape" position, like I do).

Just a visual. Lock/unlock is in blue.
