So I just received my replacement/refurbished Dinc yesterday through Asurion and waited the 12 hours for charging to turn it on this morning. Well after downloading a Music App and downloading a bunch of songs, I realized none of them would save b/c this Dinc did not come with a SD card. My first Dinc had to of came with one b/c I use to download music to it all the time. What is the deal?

Should I call back Asurion, did I get screwed, or is this normal? I already feel like I got screwed since they stopped making the Dinc back in march or may and ppl have been getting their Dinc replaced with Dinc 2s for months.:mad::mad:

Did you not take your old SD card out of your phone before sending it back?

I got the phone wet in the ocean accidentally after receiving a phone call on a boat. I imagine the SD card is fried if the phone is. I talked with an Asurion rep and she says that they did not come with one, but I know I didn't pay extra for the SD card when I bought my phone last summer. I thought it came with a small SD card and then if you wanted you could pay extra for an 8 GB one that would increase your memory further. She said it didnt come with one period. I know I had one on it and didnt pay for it so is there maybe some possibility they threw it in for free on accident? B/c saw the receipt and it did not have an SD card on it. The only thing extra was my phone case that I bought with it.

** I just checked my old phone and it did come with a 2 GB SD card that I did not pay for and I had the option to upgrade to an 8 gb one for an extra fee. I just took it out and put it in my phone hoping it works somehow. Either way that lady for Asurion was completely wrong.

Sweet, somehow even though the phone is completely fried by SD card still works. I still want to call back Asurion and let that lady know she was wrong about them not coming with an SD card at all. Anyways sorry for tying up space on this forum for something as easy as pulling out the SD card myself. I'm not very techy and am kind of dumb when it comes to electronics other than PS3 and lap tops.

Woo Hoo! I have all my music
