No Service for a Week! Service State: Radio off

Last week I got my motorola droid razr wet. It stopped working so I tried different techniques to fix it. The one that finally worked was the alcohol rinse. It has turned back on now but I have no signal so I checked the status in settings. It says:

Service state: Radio Off
Roaming: Not roaming
Mobile network: Disconnected
IMEI: 0

How can I fix it?

Sorry if I posted this in the wrong forum area thing. I'm new to this.

More info: I've contacted verizon about it already and the representative I chatted with could not help me. She told me to go to Settings>Wireless & Networks>More>Mobile Networks>and then some other things but my phone would not allow me to open Mobile Networks.

You have water damage. On any any cell phone or smartphone, water/liquid damage can interfer with hardware and, thus, software. It appears, based on your question, that some liquid got into the internals (inside) of the phone. If any vital part got wet, your phone will not operate the same again. Facts of Life.

It appears your radio got wet... or the motherboard chip that controls the radio is wet (in which case there is no hope). Chips+electricity from battery = snap crackle and POP! Kinda like putting a toaster in a bathtub.

There are instances where a phone can be saved but have minor issues, like software issues or minor hardware issues like no volume button or button lag, but those are rare. The rice Method could help (where you turn off the phone and put it on a bag of uncooked dry white rice fro 1-2 days straight). that works maybe 20-30% of the time. Its the only alternative you have.... and fyi---alcohol is a liquid... ergo you made the problem worse

Since the razr cannot be taken apart by conventional methods in order for the rice method to be max, i highly suggest you call Verizon and file a $89 insurance replacement due to water damage
