No service on boot sometimes

During every other boot I get no service. Anyone had this happen? If I turn off now and then on I have no service. If I turn off and on again its back. I tried* 228 and that didn't help. Any ideas. Thank you.

You try turning it on and just letting it acquire signal. Some times mine takes a sec.

I do. I let it sit for like 10 min. That's how I found it was doing it cause I couldn't open some things with no signal. The times I do get signal its quick. I have no clue. I just started running a new theme so that might be it. Might go back to stock rom and see what happens.

its only happened to me once, but powering off and back on fixed it. again, it only started happening since froyo and its only happened once
