No settings for amber alert

[Android Central Question]

Hi,
I'd like to turn an the amber alerts on my samsung s7. I use it in Korea but bought it in Germany. (In Korea amber alerts are used, in Germany not).
I searched the forum, and it said in Android7 the settings have moved to messages/settings/advanced/alert settings
but on my phone in /messages/settings/...
there is no menu with emergency alert settings.
I turned on Cell-Broadcasting, but got no alert (others with same provider did).

What can I do to activate them anyway?
Btw: My simcard is korean, I used it before in a korean s5 and got amber alerts without problems. So the telephone company is supporting the alert.

Welcome to the forums. Try this: open the phone general settings - tap the magnifying glass top right - type 'Amber' and see the results you get.

It's quite likely that, since the alerts aren't available in Germany, the function has been removed from the German ROM.
