No share button after taking photo

Anyone having the same issue as me?

Using the Google camera app, after taking a photo, only the info and trash icons show up at the bottom of the screen, meaning I can't share the photo from that screen. I have to open either my Google photos, Quickpic or Amazon photos apps, and share from there.

But the way, if doesn't always happen - sometimes the share button is there, and sometimes it isn't.

Anyone else? Got a fix?

With a recent update to Google Photos, this may have been fixed. I'll reply again if it acts up again.

Actually figured it out tonight, and it was more obvious then I originally thought..

You can't share a photo if you open the camera and take a shot while the camera is locked. The only way to share a photo through the camera app in one step is to already have the phone unlocked when opening the camera app.

New update today. Does it do it the same way?

See my last reply.. It's not actually a problem, it's a security feature. When your phone is locked, you can still open the camera and take a photo without unlocking it, but the photos app won't let you share it unless the phone was already unlocked.
