No Shuffle in stock music player

Why is there no shuffle feature in the stock music player? Is there a player in the market that has a shuffle feature?

Tap on the screen just above the back, play, forward controls and the shuffle option will pop up.

does it have the now playing list feature?? There is just no way that I could find to play only selected songs/artists or albums. You have to create a new playlist every time to do this.. totally sucks!
