No signal?

OK... I got rcmix or whatever rom with sense 3.0. I like it but have 2 problems with it: there is no cell signal and it is slow as crap. Fixes or perhaps a better Tom with sense 3.0?

Reflash the ROM (or if that doesn't work, use a different ROM).
