No Sim Card Notification

Hello all! Here's the deal. I did the Best Buy keep your unlimited trick to get my Turbo. I had to cut down my Micro Sim to a Nano Sim. Everyting seems to be working fine. The cut down sim isn't exactly fitting like a glove in the tray but I can get it in there.

HOWEVER... When I boot my phone I get a No Sim notification for a split second before it switches over to the 4G symbol. I am also unable to set up a Softcard account. I get something saying that "my phone is unable to connect to a 3g of 4g mobile network".

I can make calls, check VM and send texts so I am curious if this is a normal thing.... I can't really go to VZW with my issue. Don't want to lose my unlimited data plan

Why not go to Verizon and ask them for a new Nano Sim card . They are free . You didn't need to cut down your old sim card to keep unlimited . I'm guessing you bought the phone out right correct ? All you had to do was get a sim card and activate the phone on your account .

No I didn't buy it out right . That's the trick you use your upgrade but cut down your old card. Extends your contract but never changes you data plan. I I st did the small OTA and I'm not having the Softcard issue any more. Do you guys get a short no Sim symbol when you boot up?
