No SIM card?

I changed phones. Bionic no longer has a sim card. However I would like to use the phone for other things. Is there a way to bypass the activation screen to use the other functions of the phone?

There is, I forget exactly but I think it's touch each corner going counter clockwise. I also forget which on to start at. I know I wasn't much help bit perhaps this will lead you on the past to get the right answer.

Factory reset. Then when the android wants you to tap. Tap at upper left, upper right, lower right, lower left. That should do it. However, I do not know if it works without a Sim card.
