Not sure if this will help but go to settings>cyanogenmod settings >sound and see if silent mode is checked.

Last night went back to stock external speakers played pandora just fine. i always use the latest cm7 nightly. So i flashed back to cm7 emmc and no sound went into all the setting and no go. has anyone else had this problem ? also overclocked it to 1200mhz.

i jsut really want the sound to work, if not guess ill be buying a acer a500. the nook was for my GF but she likes having the games on cm7 and using the nook app for books

thanks again

It might be your overclocked too high for your CPU try going down to stock speeds and trying again.

stock 1.01 and stick 1.10 works fine when i upgrade to 1.2 the sound goes out. going to get it RMA on it

thanks for help

I almost hate to even ask this question, but have you raised and lowered the sound via the buttons? Sometimes an install resets the sound level. When you press the buttons, does the screen show the sound either raising or lowering? Note, you have to actually be in an application with sound in order for this to work. Otherwise, all you are doing is raising and lowering the ringtone, which the Nook does not have since it is not a phone. You want the screen to show "media volume" when you are raising or lowering.

I downloaded Daligrin's Nook Tools from the market. It has a number of sound settings to improve the volume that you might want to play with.
