Question No sound

I have a new android head unit.
I have no sound from my music apps, Pandora, Rock Radio?
I have sound with the units Radio and sound with you tube in my browser.
It has to be some setting, I just can't find it.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Welcome to Android Central! It might help to know the brand and model number of the head unit. (But then again, it might not, since most of these head units are direct-from-China devices with poor quality control and zero support.)

Is it connected to any Bluetooth devices?
