No sound!

Guys please help. I use two alarms the one on my v10 and my real alarm every morning both go off. This morning my home alarm went off and the other alarm just showed on the screen. So I pressed dismiss and then made sure that my volume was all the way up....it was! I did a reboot hoping that, that would solve the issue..it didn't. I literally have no sound in my phone. Even when I unlock the phone I have no clicking sound. I don't wasn't to have to trade this phone in because they'll give me a refurbished one! Thank you in advance.

Update...shouldn't have has to do this but I turned the sound off before rebooting again and when the phone came back on I turned the volume back on and now I have sound...but why did this happen? Will it happen again?

Not sure with yours, but if I silence my phone (like in an office, etc.) When I turn the volume back up my Google keyboard goes silence. I normally have the typing sound on it. I have to restart the phone to get that sound back. Weird.
