No speaker music on latest update

Edit: I finally figured out the driver. It was the latest Verizon Messages app update. Rolling it back solved the issue.

Hello,

My speaker is acting funny today. I will not play music. It also seemed low earlier on a call.

I turned off audio effects, tested several things, but nada yet. I did get the sound when I restarted. Can't help wondering if I'm missing something simple.
