No text notification for 'some' senders

S7 gives notifications OK for email. Calendar, messenger, alarm etc. so volumes all set OK.
However S7 does not give notification for incoming texts from a few specific contact numbers.
It does for others - so 'general' notification for messages is set and working OK

If I look at the entries in ‘Messages’ I see a speaker symbol with a line though it ….



Assume this means notification sound off.
This sender is in my contacts, where do I find setting to turn notification sound back on for him.

Maybe it's your phone's way of telling you not to talk to those ppl... Hahah
Seriously now, go into the Txt thread and see if you blocked them somehow under settings

Have now found an option I was unaware of ... go to messages, click on message from 'affected' sender, then at top of screen click on senders name - then there is a notification button .... turned it on and the cross though the icon dissipated.

No idea how it was off for one person.
