No update available on Samsung Galaxy Tab GT-P7500

I already made a factory reset and inserted a sim card but still there's no Android 4.0 update for it, it's stuck on Android 3.1. The tab is from UAE and now I am in the Philippines. I don't want to install a custom rom because it scares me a lot what if I just brick my tab. I will try to connect my tab to Kies but if it doesn't help me with my problem I think I will be stuck on Android Honeycomb forever!

Welcome to Android Central! There might not be an official ICS firmware for that device. On SamMobile, the Saudi Arabia version only has 3.2 as the latest firmware: Firmware for Samsung GT-P7500 - SamMobile

I'm the "AC Question" because I forgot that I have an account here. What can I do to upgrade it to newer versions? I really want the new features of Android ICS

You'd need to root the device and look for a custom ICS (or higher) ROM designed for that device. I don't have any experience with that, unfortunately. Check the forums at xda-developers.com.
