No Voice Input When Bluetooth Connected?

So when my SGS3 is connected to the Bluetooth SYNC system in my Ford, or when I have my Plantronics Voyager Pro connected, I can not use Voice Input or Google search.... The audio doesn't come through. What's up with that? Any way to work around it?

I've seen the same thing with two different Jabra BT devices and my S3. I had not noticed a problem until after the recent OS update. I'm going to reflash the older firmware and see if that makes a difference.

Check that S-voice is enabled. Turns out that the OS update wasn't the issue. I dumped the broken update and had the same problem. I found that when I disabled S-voice the BT voice input was also disabled. It looks like the S3 uses S-voice for all of its voice commands over BT. I tried disabling S-voice again after loading the new fixed update and found the same thing. I enabled S-voice and BT voice commands work.
