I hope to get enough people to come with me to google+. This is what I've been waiting for. It's hard to get people to leave things such as facebook as for over half a decade they've only communicated through myspace of facebook. Text and email are foreign to them and they can't grasp new ideas easily.

People who use facebook only because people jumped ship from the myspace days and still prefer myspace and hate using facebook.

The key point here, and hopefully everyone adopts (Or at leas the important people), is personal sharing. I've consolidated my facebook to just under 40 people in the last few years just to try and become personal. Which still hasn't exactly worked. If I want to share things about certain topics... only about 3-4 people on my facebook care. And they sometimes don't even see it because they got lost in the sea of mindless updates about what they had for lunch or what they are doing right now at this very moment.

The hardest part of breaking the facebook chain: people on facebook are lonely. They want the entire world to know what their dirty socks smell like. They want EVERYONE to respond to them. They want attention. It's cool if you have hundreds of people you don't know as a friend.

Google+ don't let me down. The biggest hurdle, first and for most like sited else where is UI experience. If it hides in gmail it won't do well. They need to think about getting a better domain than plus.google.com. People go to google cause you type google. People go to youtube cause you type youtube. If you add something to the front of google people get confused and lost. anything between www. and .com is what they say. When you get rid of the www. and ad things like plus, or /docs /reader: people get lost.
