no WiFi assist but getting LTE symbol

OK so I don't exactly have the greatest living situation. I live in a basement with a concrete and metal wallbeside me. Just to keep my ps4 from wagging out I picked up a Wall WiFi plug. And hard lined.

So this is weird but occasionally while on FULL BAR 5Ghz WiFi I get the LTE symbol I routed around and couldn't find anything in my settings any advice anyone? It happens even when I'm sitting in the room away from my bedroom basically on top of the router

Is your phone receiving a picture or sending one via your carrier? MMS will initialize the LTE connection to send or receive it.

That could be it. I started using textra so could be the culprit. Thanks!
