No wireless, no problem!

Wireless charging used to be high on my priority list. At one time I had an Iphone and got a device that was thin and fit inside the leather case I had and I could charge it. My Galaxy S7 Edge had wireless charging and I liked it a lot. But it was not a deal breaker. So now I plug my HTC 10 in and I'll plug my Pixel in when I get it. The Quick Charge feature works great. If I measured the time I take to plug it in, vs putting in on the charger, it might vary a half a second.

Agree jimbo - had wireless for Droid Turbo - no wireless on ZForce, plugging in with USB C is not an issue.

Yeah...but think of all the time saved NOT having to plug in a cord!!!!! I mean, seriously.

/End obvious sarcasm!

I think of all the time spent fishing behind my desk for a cable that fell, or the time drunk trying a micro USB and getting confused...

Two hints:

1) Clip a binder clip to the end of the charger wire. Keeps it in view and wherever you want.
2) Charge it before going out. :-)

Both those would require adulthood ;)

Trust me...according to my wife I am the biggest "child" around at over 45+. :-)

A bender of Rhinegeist Truth or Great Lakes Nosferatu...or a LOT of Lite at the game tends to start the conversation...LMFAO!

I really wanted wireless charging on this. It's so convenient, and I am so used to it. Almost baffling that it was left out of the Pixel. Oh well ..

Never had wireless charging so don't know what I'm missing if anything. I only charge overnite anyway so don't see a problem plugging in a "C" plug once every 24 hours. :)

Wireless is one of those nice to have features. Quick charge is much more important and useful, so I'm happy with it

Same for me. I have the Verizon wireless charger stand on my desk at work and it is so convenient. Not sure it is a deal breaker, but I will miss it.

I was hoping it would have wireless charging as well, just because my charging port broke on my current phone and I have invested in wireless chargers for both work and home... Not sure if I am going to buy this phone when I get the chance or not but it would have been nice to just keep the wireless chargers around, it is very convenient!

This is a big factor in me thinking about the Pixel as a replacement for the Note 7. I can't believe how spoiled I've gotten by wireless charging. I bought a bunch of the chargers and have them everywhere I frequent.

I love wireless charging!! Charging pad on my desk, nightstand, end table, and wireless holder in car.....saves the charge port, which is a very common failure point ( USB C may be more durable, time will tell )...but, It's nice to be able to lay the phone down and pick it up....

Wouldn't be a deal breaker for me either. I actually have a wireless charger but I can't use it when/where I normally charge my phone which is while I'm sleeping. The light from it sorely messed up a decent night's sleep so it collects dust mostly with barely an occasional use plugged in elsewhere in the house. I need my sleep more than I need a fast charging phone.
