yes, they play fine, make sure your wmv isn't drm protected! If it is a Digital Copy from a BlueRay it will be DRM protected!

How did you get them to play? They freeze on mine. The audio continues but the video freezes at 2 seconds.

No. They are Email attachments.

Mine freezes...it shows the first few frames and the audio continues. It's not protected since I made the movie.

Well there is something in the format of the WMV the droid dosn't like.....sorry I couldn't help!

I had the same problem (playing an emailed wmv file) and posted the same question...doesn't seem that there is an answer right now...?? Specs say wmv files should play...

on the nexus, the video won't play when you click the attachment from an email. but if I download the file to the memory card first, then it plays fine. use astro file manager to do this, its free. and used the web email interface to download from my email.

not elegant, but it definitely works.
