Nokia C21 startup noise

[Android Central Question]

Hi, I have a Nokia C21 backup phone that I turn on occasionally, but the start-up tune is insanely loud! Does anyone know where this setting is?

I've turned media volume etc right down, but it hasn't made any difference.

Before turning off you can turn volume off or down .

I don't know this particular model but a lot of times under something like Sounds and Animations or Sounds and Gestures, there's an option to turn on or off Start-up and Shutdown Sounds. It is usually in the same location as the vibration settings for these events. Although when I searched the web for your issue the first thing I found was this thread where someone wrote it isn't possible to disable this permanently. That thread is at Nokia's own forum where Nokia owners are known to frequent. They might be the best ones to ask about this.
