It's possible that one of your installed apps is placing it there every time you delete it but I doubt that you will be able to find out which app it is creating it.But it stops music and movies in my 'downloads' folder from appearing in my gallery, which I dont like.
I feel like it started appearing recently, cause I've never had problems with my gallery in years...
Could it be an an app that keeps putting it there?

Hello, Ive recently got this problem too. did u fix yours?There is a .Nomedia file that keeps appearing on my internal storage root drive, even after i delete it. Does anyone know what causes it to keep coming back?
