Hi,
i want my phone to include music files from my music folder in sd card to music library, but don't scan any pictures on that directory, like album arts, covers.

i put .nomedia to music directory but then all music archive also lost.
in fact i want my mobile to show pictures only from my pictures directory and don't scan any other location for pictures.

is there any way to limit this ?

Welcome to Android Central! Is all of your album art saved as separate image files in that directory, as opposed to embedding the art using an ID3 tag editor (best done on a computer, not the phone)?

I have the same issue. I have separate album art on most albums, and converting is not an option as I don't have time for it.

So far the only workaround I have found is to install a 3rd party gallery viewer that lets me configure directories to exclude from the gallery, but that's not an ideal issue as they pop up in other places.
