Non Official Battery Help.

So i have a few chineese batteries that i use for my DX running ICS and they work fine. Now i am using a X2 for media to my TV. I get the ? in the battery and it wont charge. My X2 is rooted as well. Can i delete or freeze any files that check the battery? Or is there a zip i could flash to edit the battery?
