Non-responsive areas of the touch screen

[Android Central Question]

Hello,
I bought a used car with some no-name Android multimedia system. The problem is that the touch screen has some non responsive areas in the lower part of the display. I calibrated the screen several times (putting 5 fingers on the screen for several minutes and then pressing on the appearing X signs on the display)- it did not help. tried to do a hard reset by pressing on the "reset" button on the side panel, it did not help either. I cannot do a "factory reset" since I cannot press on "OK" - the screen is not responsive in this area. How the problem could be solved?

Best bet find another multimedia radio , lot of these aftermarket Chinese version are problematic running old Andriod version

Welcome to Android Central! If there's a screen protector, try taking it off. Otherwise, it sounds like the touchscreen is faulty, which is a hardware issue.
