Non-Verizon Nexus 6 on Verizon, any easy way to revert back to 5.0, out of box condition?

Hi all

I am using my Nexus 6 that I bought through the Moto store on Verizon, and I am hearing that they are finally updating those, but only if you are on 5.0. I had pulled my SIM recently and I am now on 5.1, but it is build LMY47D. The build LMY47E is for Verizon, and has an updated radio. I would like to get on build LMY47E without much fuss. I am considering 3 options; I might just wait and see if Verizon releases a way to update from LMY47D to LMY47E, or I might use Wugfresh to update to LMY47E (would this void my warranty?), or I was hoping that I could just downgrade my OS to what it came with out of the box, which would allow me to upgrade to LMY47E through Verizon. I don't care if I have to wipe my phone, but I would rather not unlock the bootloader if I don't have to, and I would like to go from LMY47D to LMY47E.

Other than waiting and seeing, there is no way to accomplish this without unlocking the boot loader. You can always relock when you are done. Flashing official factory firmware will not void your warranty.

I bought my Nexus 6 from Verizon, and it came with E out of the box.

If you bought from Google or moto the shipped with d build if you bought from Verizon they came with e build. Both are current builds and should get upgraded to which ever 5.1.1 build is next I would just be patient.

Yup. E is just a newer build. Not VZ specific. I had the D build and got upgraded last night OTA.
