iOS on my phone, android on the tablet and the second phone. Trying to get some ideas for a specific project and figure the forums will likely be the best resource.
Neither of the android devices have been rooted. One is a Wi-Fi only tablet, the other is a CDMA cheap smart phone.

EDIT: I am new to some aspects, but I am not new to tech, programming, or even the forums. And I follow what I tell others: search twice, ask once.
EDIT 2: I saw somebody else add some other kind of notes so I figured I would is well.
My first mobile phone was a no Kia that had the bass in a bag. After that team hey Motorola flip, and then it started with the PCS phones. Prior to the ad vent of what we call spark phones now, I had a couple of BlackBerries and a large, flat, rectangular Motorola and had a couple of apps for it.
The first smart phone I had was the iPhone 3GS. Found that I quickly needed more than what it could provide and tried a Samsung galaxy (I believe it was the 4). I wasn’t thrilled there, and started buying used, unlocked phones. Next came and iPhone 4(Stolen) an iPhone 5, and now an iPhone SE.
The tablet is an off brand, 7 inch, android 4.4 device. I need to swap it out with something that has USB OTG and preferably a 9” – 10” screen. The Android phone is an Alcatel with 4.1.2.
