NOOB Q, Rooted EVO 4G flashed to cricket

If I install a custom ROM like CM will it remove the settings and make me re-flash my phone to cricket? I know it must be a total noob thing that I dont know it but I cant find it anywhere. Thanks to all in advance

Yes. If the APN settings (or the ROM settings, in simpler terms) says Sprint, then yes, you will have to get it reflashed.
