I am new to rooting and flashing roms. First off, I know that you always have to search in the forums for answers to your question before posting a new thread. I have done that and have not found a precise answer to what I want to know. I flashed my S3 to Wicked Rom and winded up in the Aroma installer menu. The only thing that I didn't know how to choose was the kernel. I selected the stock kernel since I didn't know what were the other ones for. I went ahead and looked it up. Let me clear that I don't want to touch anything that overclocks my device. I want it to work at the normal speed and am looking for better battery life. So, my question is, What are the advantages of the Deviant kernel or the Xone kernel instead of the stock kernel?
