Noob questions on rooting and roms

Hello guys. I'm new to rooting in my tbolt but had done it on my of Droid. Before the one click root.

My buddy will be rooting for me using revolutionary. Once rooted what is the best way to load roms ? Does Rom manger still work for tbolt ? What is the button combo to get the tbolt into recovery mode? Power and down volume? I did it once by accident saw a white screen with hboot or something dunno.

What is a good rom for free teether at 4g speeds

That's it for now I've searched but gave been missing stuff here and there. Thank you guys for the help.

Follow Cyber Warriors sticky guide on how to flash ROMS. It's loaded with a lot of useful information. Rom Manager works, but should only be used to flash clockwork recovery. The bootloader is accessed by powering down completely, then pressing and holding volume down, and then the power button simultaneously. You can tether with open garden app, or google's wireless tether app
