Nook Color Replacement?

I am looking for advice on a replacement to my Nook Color.

Here is a little background. I am running CM7 overclocked to 1GHz and the Nook sits on my coffee table in the living room. I use it mainly to control my GoogleTV and for the web (browsing, news feeds, forums, IM/texting). Overall I am happy with it but there are things that are missing so I am considering a replacement.

-Microphone - I am a big voice search user. When I am watching something on TV and I want to search the web I usually end up reaching for my phone to voice search in stead of typing on the Nook. Then I am stuck with a 4" screen.

-Front facing camera - I think I would use the Nook for video calls (Skype, Google Talk) with my family if it had a front facing cam.

-Playback performance - I usually watch video on Google TV but every now and then I would like to watch on the Nook. Even overclocked my Nook struggles with video play back. Some of the issue is buffering the content and might be more of a wifi issue. I can pull the same video on my phone using the same wifi and it runs fine.

-Screen - I think I would like a sharper screen. Maybe more resolution, maybe just better technology. I defiantly would like an auto brightness sensor.

Any recommendations with some explanation why you are recommending is appreciated.

Sounds like you, my friend, are looking for a full fledged tablet. I heard Best buy was dropping the HTC Flyer down to 300 bucks, only 50 more then the Nook. I haven't heard the greatest things about that tablet, and the pen add-on is 80 more bucks.

I have heard good things about the Vizio Tablet, which runs Honeycomb, as opposed to Gingerbread, and I think is also 300 bucks. It has all the features you are looking for. I was actually thinking about buying one of these.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab is pretty good as well, it's currently the biggest iPad competitor, and it also runs Honeycomb. It's much more expensive, however. Those are 3 you may want to check out.

Yep, I sold my NC last night after picking up a Flyer. I sold the NC for $200.00 with a case, and 8GB SD Card in it. (And a CD with 390 books burnt onto it for sideloading after registration) Picked up the Flyer for $300, and slapped my 32GB card in it. Runs great and the Reader software that comes with it is good to go by itself. I wish the NC had that animation.
