Ok so I just made a new SD running Froyo since honeycomb is still a bit too laggy, but when I sign into the nook app it says my library has nothing in it... even when I press sync it stays at empty. Any ideas? I had no problems on honeycomb with the app, and when i log in online my books are there but not in the app. Im stumped.

Matt

Tried to clear data in settings, force quit and uninstalled. Reinstalled and still has the same problem. I can log in perfectly fine but all the folders are empty, and I cant even download a sample. It says "added to your library" but doesnt show up on my account or on the nook

I am having the same problem with the Nook reader. All the other reader apps work fine, Kindle, Google Books, Audible.

I've noticed a little lag -- kinda like Market downloads -- between buy or download sample and anything actually happening in the Nook app.

Wondering if B&N has some sort of device-limit-per-account and since you've probably got it on your phone and the Honeycomb install and now Froyo.

If you login to your B&N account via a browser, toward the bottom of My Account in the Digital Management section, there's a "My Nook" link. If you open that, is there more than one device?

Okay...just an idea.

So what happens if you deregister it via the website and try again via the reader?

On this issue, I'm in Aus and just put the honeycomb firmware on my nook. I can't get the nook app to appear in the app market and if I try to get to it via the web, the app store tells me that the app isn't available in my region - WTF? I have it on my iphone.

Does anyone have a link to grab the app manually? (is installing an app without the app market even an option???)

Thanks

You need to use CM7. Honeycomb is not based off official source code.

I have CM7 running off SD card. Unfortunately it is telling Netherlands NookfirAndroid app is not compatible with the NookColor if anyone has an ideahow to fix this I would love to hear it. I've only been running CM7 for a couple of days and love it. But I'm dissapointed I can't get to my B&N books unless I reboot in the emmc os.

Are you using the new market?

I believe so. I'm new t this though, so how can I tell?

Scratch that. I just found the version. It is 3.0.27. Is this the newest market?

Yes, try using the old market by going to market in settings and uninstalling updates. Then to make it stay on the old market delete, rename, or freeze marketupdater.apk

Thanks! I will giveit a try

I can't stop the updater. How do you freeze, delete, or rename it? Filemanager tells me I can't. Thanks.

I'm using CM7 on an SD card, and haven't found a reader that I like as well as I like the native Nook Color Reader. I tried installing the Nook for Android app from the market, but it hangs with an internal error when I try to sign in. Any ideas? The DPI is set to 160. I'm new to android, so I don't know much about the OS. I'm just happy I got the thing running, but I'm afraid if I don't find a better reader, I'll have to abandon the root. Currently I'm using the Aldiko Reader, but it just isn't as convenient as the Nook Reader.

Thanks.

"Error

Internal error: Exception executing the command."

WiFi is on and connected. I can search apps and browse the web.
