So when I right click properties all my folders that show up in Windows for my galaxy, it shows 7.8gb of files. Yet in my computer, it shows 8gb free of 24.7 gb. That is 16gb of data which i have no idea where it is. Can someone explain how can i see where and what this 16gb of files are.

Welcome to Android Central! The folders that you can see are only the ones that are accessible to the user. It doesn't include protected system directories and the OS. The S7 edge's OS and bloatware use up about 8 GB, so that added to the 7.8 GB that you can see accounts for the total of 16 GB used.

No what B.Diddy has stated is partially erroneous. It is true that some of the files that are taken up by the system and other stuff take up 8GB, but that's already accounted fot since you only have 24GB out of the 32GB onboard.

However other data like app data is invisible on Windows, so if your apps take up 8GB, then there you go.
