Not Charging

I've had my tab 3 7" for a little more than a year and recently it hasn't been charging except with the factory charger. When another charger is plugged in it shuts off, it doesn't reset or charge. Anybody know what's wrong and/or what to do?

Welcome to Android Central! Have you tried multiple other chargers, or one other?

Thanks, and I've tried two others and both times it just turns off.

But it charges completely normally with the original charger? It doesn't charge abnormally slowly or anything like that?

It seems to charge completely normally, it might be slower, I'm not sure since I plug it in around 20% and leave it and sometimes forget about it, but when I come back it is at 100%

Today it was having trouble charging with the factory charger when it was below 10% until it was turned off. This morning it also seemed to be either be showing the incorrect charge or was discharging very rapidly, was showing to be charged at 55% (was plugged in at 40% and was using the Youtube app just before hand) and when the plug was pulled off, the charge dropped to 5%.

It sounds like it could be a failing battery.
