not charging

My phone went from 15 percent to 5 within 3 or so minutes then 1 percent,I then put it on charge before I watched a 2 hr movie and when it was over I checked my phone and it's at 4 percent then went to 3,my charger works I just used it on my vape,what could it be,first time it's did this

Hi Pontiac!

Try using other other "OEM" cables if you can. If could be your charger. If you're using after market charger/cable, it could be that too. You can also go into recovery, and wipe the cache partition, you won't lose any data or settings. It might help. Also, if you are letting your phone die, due to low battery, this could develop problems as well.

Also....check your battery stats....see what's using the most, or if anything looks odd there. Might be a rouge app. too.

you won't get most of a charge while watching a movie, especially depending on your output media, and volume, brightness, etc... but yeah i would check my oem chargers and everything as H3aterzz mentioned.
