Not enough storage

I like to play the HOG-type adventure games. For some larger games (in the 500MB range), when I try to move the game to the SD card (a 32GB card), sometimes the move gets to 95% and then the 5X tells me there's not enough storage. I have 75% of the SD card available (about 25GB). Any guesses why this might happen?

The OS will only shift a small portion of the data to the card.

No, they don't support it. There are hacks though.

Yes, and from what i have read, it works but with mixed results. I would advise buying a phone that supports it out of the box, if you want it

I'm not quite sure if it would work every time, but I use the adb hack in conjunction with LineageOS on my Honor 5X and it works beautifully with adoptable storage

LineageOS 14.1 latest update (not sure how far back works) will allow me to select removable storage or adoptable storage when it first detects an SD card.

Not only that, but I started out with 14.8GB internal storage instead of the 10GB that the stock ROM shows from Huawei. That's an extra 4.8GB. Additionally, the system doesn't take up as much, so I actually had over 11GB free before I started installing my apps. I've got 132 apps installed to internal storage, and still have over 4GB available.

This version does not allow me to install apps to SD card without using adoptable storage or using "other" means, but with the extra room, it's not necessary for me. Internal storage is also faster, so I'm happier being able to put it there.
