[Apologies if you think you've read this before - you probably have. I posted it on the " I have a Nexus 4, you have questions" Sticky a few weeks ago, but didn't get a solution, so I'm trying one last time on a separate thread.]
I'm using the SMS app which came with the Nexus 4. Everything is fine with sending and receiving messages, except when I get an SMS delivery report. A small window pops up for a couple of seconds saying "Message received by ...", and a small icon appears on the message I've just sent, but I don't get any sound notification.
I don't know anyone else with a Nexus 4, so could anyone confirm whether I should be getting a sound notification; if so, any ideas why I'm not? I've looked through the settings and can't see anything obvious, so I'm wondering whether there might be a fault with the phone.
