Not getting Gmail notifications on phone

Anyone else not getting gmail notifications'? All my devices aren't getting them. Have to manually check phone. Thanks

Do you get them if you boot into Safe Mode? If so, then some app you installed is probably interfering.

No, but its the same on all three of my devices. Just started recently. So i doubt its an app as I haven't added any recently.

Are all 3 devices from the same manufacturer, or different?

Different. I noticed I wasn't getting gmail notifications on my z flip 4. So I switched to pixel 7 pro and it was happening with the pixel.

But I'm now getting notificatlons again. with the Pixel 7 pro. Don't know what fixed it though. I rolled back the latest update, then updated again. Reset network settings, cleared cache, etc,etc. I guess I should go back to the flip and see if the notifications are OK on it. But thanks for all the help.

This notification bug happened to all Android using Gmail. It worked better on iOS.

Same here, it seems like Google changed the way Gmail works with notifications in Android 11 or 12. I just get notifications for my primary folder, nothing for updates (which is where I get the most important mail), promotions, or social. I've been through all the settings many times.. no change. If I was getting notifications for everything though, I would have a ton of them daily. Maybe that's why it does what it does lol.

I just check regularly, and whenever I'm expecting an email, which works fine for me
