Not getting texts

I'm not getting probably 20-30% of my texts. Both SMS and MMS. Also from both Android devices and iPhones (iMessages).

I've tried getting folks to change to Telegram or such. But most don't want another app to use, when it's not their problem.

Is there anything I can do on my end to try and fix this? It's getting frustrating.

And I dread calling ATT.

Try different message app like Textra or Google messages see if same is happening.

The OP meant that it's happening with the stock app, and that they're trying to get friends/family to switch to Telegram in order to avoid this SMS/MMS problem.

Correct. Not able to use Telegram as sms or mms

Try turning advance message off .

Turn off wifi calling, it's a bug on wifi calling, test that after is off.

As a follow-up.

I've had WiFi calling off all week. And I'm not aware of any missing texts.

So there may be something to WiFi calling being the issue. Still wanna keep testing it though.

I had an issue with text messages not sending and I was getting an invalid teleservice error. Someone recommended turning off WiFi calling so i did and the issue went away. There is some supposed bug with WiFi calling.
