How exactly do Samsung think people that are left handed can use this phone with the built on case when they need to use the pen in their left hand? All well and good for right handed people but for left handed people like myself it was one of the first things I thought of when the device was announced

What built on case?

Samsung Galaxy S6 - Black - 32GB - AT&T
Speck Candyshell
ZAGG Tempered Glass

My brother is left handed and ive seen him hold my moms note3 in his right hand and pull out the spen and use it with no problem, and he is an iphone guy.

I cant see samsung making two versions.

I thought this post was meant to be sarcastic, but i replied anyway lol.

All the Note series have had the pen on the right bottom of the phone.
Its really not that hard to take the pen out, and switch the phone to the other hand and write with your left.
I'm left handed, I don't think it will be much of a problem

Why the heck would it be sarcastic? The coverage of the announcement here in my country showed that the note5 comes with a built in portfolio case which isn't left hand friendly at all

I guess because the spen is where it has always been. I haven't seen anything with a built in case. Do you have something that shows the announcement or pictures from it?

I just thought it might of been since this is the 5th note (six if you count the note edge) and it's always been in the same place.

Sorry if i offended you, but people have been hating on the note5 since before the reveal and i thought it might have been a post to bring something new to the table of complaints.

One the plus side, the one hand use for the notes allows for right or left handed use, assuming the 5 still has it.

That's so weird. The announcement of the phone here on the tv news in Australia showed that the phone comes with a built on folio case. I'm so confused now. Wtf

I don't trust how things look on TV -- So many times there have been photoshop fails so that could have been what you saw.

It was this case that came with a physical keyboard. Maybe Samsung were also showing off some cases that came with the phone but they made it out like it was built into it lol

Nooooooo offense to left handed folk.

But their more right handed people then left. I'm right handed but that doesn't stop me from using my left hand ijs...

Walk around your house and check how many things have their functions on the right side and you've survived this long..

Nintendo have the stylus on the right side.
(dryer, washing machine, tv buttons, xbox buttons..... )

I'm a lefty and manage just fine. In fact being a lefty you just have to accept the fact MOST things in life are with the right hander in mind. We learn to adapt and overcome.

I love the arrogance of right handed people. So just because you're right handed you think there shouldn't be products that are convenient for left handed people to use. So typical.

It's one thing to make a device with the stylus on the right hand side. It's quite another to make a device that covers from left to right making it almost impossible for left handed people to write on it

Its not about arrogance its about $.
its what it boils down to.. Production cost. They have lefty scissors and can openers..

If it makes you feel better half the doors on all cars are lefty safe..

I am right handed and i am not arrogant, well not about being right handed anyway.

If the cover you are talking about it a flip cover, see if someone makes them. Last i checked being left handed isn't a handicap, yes it's a challenge to some, the one handed option in touchwiz is made for right or left handed people.

Yeah ok. How would you feel if a phone came out on the market with a flip cover that flipped open in the opposite direction making it unbelievably inconvenient to use. Would you be all rays and sunshine? The preview for the galaxy note 5 here in Australia showed a keyboard with what looked like a portfolio style cover. Oh well guess it's a reason for me not to even look at it. There's a reason left handed people can't use portfolio cases. Phone companies need to realize this and actually bother marketing for a WHOLE market instead of only a select one that not everyone can use

I simply wouldn't buy it or try to use it. I would look elsewhere. There are things in life that are not built for me, i accept it and move on.

Not going to argue about it, it is what it is. Email samsung, its obvious they don't listen to us on here.

This arrogant attitude is what I'm talking about from right handed people. All my life I've been told "Oh well put up with it". Why should I have to? I have just as much right as a right handed person to be able to use a device that is convenient for me. I'm not the only left handed people in the world but we ALWAYS get forgotten about because right handed people have that kind of attitude
