Not playing mp3 ringtones

Odd issue. I add mp3 ringtones then go to settings sounds and can play them. After I power cycle the phone and go back into sounds it won't play them.

Go into My Music app > My Library > find the mp3 file you want to make a ringtone > Long Press > Use as ringtone.
