Not receiving any notifications after a few minutes in Sleep Mode

Hey guys,

I recently upgraded my HTC One M8 to the HTC 10 and everything is working fine except one thing. I noticed that whenever I put my phone in Sleep Mode, I stop receiving any notifications after some time. Haven't quite figured out how long after it happens but it's more than 30 minutes and could be more than an hour.

I scoured the internet for a solution and couldn't find any that applied to my situation. For the record, yes, I have "Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep" set to Always and "When device is locked" set to Show all notification content. I've tried a few others things but no avail.

Anyone else had that problem before? Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Its probably the sleep feature that has been implemented in android for a while now.
a good way to test this, leave the phone on a table over night and in the morning pick it up.
You dont have to turn on the screen. The movement from you picking it up will wake the unit up from super deep sleep to a less deep sleep which will then check for notifications.
Do a search and you will see several people with similar complaints. My 10 and S7 edge do this as well.
With your phone being at rest for 30 minutes or more and having no activity what so ever the phone basically is going into a deep sleep.

I wasn't aware of this, thanks!

Do you know if there's a workaround for it? Or a way to set how long after the phone is inactive it will go into "deep sleep" mode?

Not that im aware of as its deep in the heart of the operating system.
I believe its called Doze.

Are you using power save mode all the time?
