Not receiving messages from only 2 contacts

[Android Central Question]

So up until 2 days ago I was able to receive text messages from these contacts and now I can send them a message and it shows it was delivered and read, but they send messages back and their phone shows the message was delivered, but I never received it. Both of these contacts have Samsung phones, like mine and we are all on the same network (AT&T) One contract is my husband, the other is my son, so I message them a lot.

Do you use DND ? Have you checked if accidentally blocked?.

I've checked to see if they were blocked and they are not. Sometimes when my husband calls me and asked if I received his message, I check and no message, but then I try and send him one and when I hit send, it completely takes me out of messages and back to my home screen. Then I try again and the message will send and I will get one from him. Then a few minutes later he tries to send me a message and I don't receive it, but his phone shows it was delivered.

Maybe your message app has little glitch , try long press it and tap info , scroll to storage and clear data,cache,force stop it see what happens test again
