Not receiving Yahoo Mail notifications

At one point in time i was receiving notifications very quickly, then within the last two weeks it stopped receiving notifications. I'm not sure why.

To save everyone the hassle of the giving the standard replies, i have already:

Checked all settings in the Yahoo Mail itself > everyone is set correctly = still not receiving notifications

Checked all the settings in "settings" > Notifications > advanced > yahoo mail > app notifications > everything is set correctly = still not receiving notifications.

Cleared cache = still not receiving notifications.

Force stop > clear cache = still not receiving notifications

Force stop > clear cache > clear data > uninstall > reinstall = still not receiving notifications

I use the main email app with gmail and receive notifications for each app separately. i recently had a software update on the 19th of July, but i was still not receiving notifications prior to the update.

Any suggestions or information as to why this is happening and what can be done to fix the problem would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

You'd have to take it up with Yahoo! Devs if those things didn't fix it.
