not sleep on the dock?

does anyone know how to keep the display from going to sleep while it's on the dock?

I love the "alarm clock" dock app, because it has the weather, date, any agenda items, etc. ... but after 1 minute it goes to "sleep", where it darkens somewhat and only shows the time.

Is there any way to keep this "sleep mode" from happening? I've went into settings>applications> and clicked "stay awake while charging", but that doesn't really do anything.


any suggestions?

That's normal. It dims and brightens based on the ambient lighting conditions. Its not always perfect though so sometimes you'll get a dark screen while its bright around it. Also, make sure its plugged in correctly. I noticed sometimes, is mine isn't docked quite right or the plug in the back has come loose (damned cat), it will dim when it shouldn't.

Do you have the dock pluged in? If not plug it in.

Never mind. Thats how it works.

If you press the back button it should take you to the normal screen. If its plugged in it should stay awake after that.

If you want the clock screen brighter hit your settings button while in the dock, you can change it there.
