I'm considering rooting my phone in a couple days, and I'm wondering, when rooted, is there anything that can be done to make earphones made for iPhones work with Android? I'm talking about the ones with volume +/- and center buttons. As I understand, they won't work on stock, because it's an Apple proprietary thing, or whatever, but can they be made to work while rooted?
