So I haven't been on an Android phone since the Droid 2 which was preceded by the Droid X. Most recently I had an iPhone 4 on Verizon as well as the BB 9930. So, having said all that, my GN is less than a week old and I'm just not feeling it. I'm seriously thinking of trading for an iPhone 4S and going back to the nice and warm Apple universe. I'm having a really hard time putting it into words but Android still feels just not totally done. I love being able to tweak it and the kick a$$ community out there that's supporting it but there's something about it that I can't get past.

Talk me off the ledge!

I don't know how people like iOS, well I do know..but I don't understand why. You can't customize anything compared to how much you can customize on android devices.

Android is nnot for every one. I personally think ics really improved over gingerbread. Ya i agree its not as polished as ios but i dont it will ever be. But every update makes it better. As long as it does what i want thats all i can ask for. Ask yourself what do you want it to do for you. And pick wich phone does that. Im in to making it my own and android does let me do that. My phone looks defferent then others with the same phone. Just renember no phone is perfect

The OS is smooth as butter. It's responsive and does everything I need. It's stable and reliable for me as well. Being able to put widgets and having more upload options doesn't do anything for me.

Well a lot of people like customizing their phones, and with iOS that's not something you can do.

Good point. Maybe I haven't explored Android's customizations as much as I need to.

ios5 is fine tuned and easy to use, theres no denying that. I did consider it, but like others have already said it is nice to be able to personalize android to meet your needs. I just came from a 3g phone and don't think I could do without the speeds of 4g which the 4s doesn't have. One of my friends went from 2 years of having an iphone and went to android and it has been driving him nuts ever since, I dont understand why. To each their own.

I am an Android fan but one of the things that Android needs to work on is getting all users on the same playing field. I hate it when games are announced but they only work on certain devices. This is not an issue as much with the 4S.
